Astrological compatibility
(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 22 December 2014, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 9.19.19) If you do marry, then be careful that whoever you marry is a devotee. Whatever you do, do not marry a non-devotee. That would be the worst thing to do because then it will be goodbye to yourself! You can say goodbye
The shelter of an ashram
(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 22 December 2014, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 9.19.19) Srila Prabhupada explains, in terms of going to the forest, that the best of all forests is Vrindavan. But in Vrindavan, one must purely pursue Krsna consciousness and one must not go there for engaging in lusty desires. In other words, one
Krsna is everything!
(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 16 August 2006, Goloka Dhama, Germany, Janmastami Lecture) One pastime that I like very much is when Krsna eats dirt. I like it so much because Mother Yashoda looks inside Krsna’s mouth and sees the entire universe there, that is quite amazing – the universe is within Krsna, who at the same

One who does good is never overcome by evil
(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 09 November 2014, Mayapur, India, Srimad Bhagavatam 6.1.19) We have seen cases where devotees were murdered. I know of a devotee who was murdered whilst chanting japa; it happened in South Africa. Everyone was stunned because this was evil. I mean, this was a devotee. We had a big gathering for the departure of
The test of ill health
(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 01 December 2014, Mayapur, India, Srimad Bhagavatam 6.1.50) Question: My wife and I have been struggling with ill health since we came to the Holy Dham, so we were trying to understand it as an obstacle and purification. Could you speak a little about that? Ill health is a great test! In

Dear Devotees
On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.
"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
